In my opinion, one of the best areas to stay in Bali for tourism is Seminyak. If you stay in one of the Seminyak rentals, you will be close to many tourist attractions. You can be within walking distance of not just your hotel pool, but the beach. Head in the other direction and go shopping in town or have a meal at one of its many restaurants. Later in the evening you could check out the Bali nightlife and visit a bar or club. During the day, for an authentic experience of Balinese culture, Seminyak is also near the Petitenget Temple.
